Our Story

Grandee's started as a snoball stand on River Road in Montz — a simple idea with deep roots in the Louisiana tradition of shaved ice, community, and keeping it real. We serve authentic New Orleans-style snoballs because that's what we grew up on and that's what St. Charles Parish deserves.

As the business grew, so did our vision. St. Charles Parish needed a licensed commercial kitchen — a place where food truck operators, caterers, and cottage food vendors could operate legally without driving to New Orleans. The parish recognized that need, and Grandee's answered it.

Today Grandee's is two things at once: a neighborhood snoball stand that the community knows and loves, and a licensed food commissary giving the next generation of Louisiana food entrepreneurs a place to launch. Both of those things are who we are.
